OSAGE COUNTY CELEBRATE

Achievement Night will be held Tuesday, November 10th at Grace Community Church in Overbrook. Dinner will start at 6 p.m. followed by the awards ceremony. Be watching the newsletter for more details.

Osage County 4-H Council Meeting

The Osage County 4-H Council meetings are held on the last Monday of the month in February, April, June, August, October and December at 7:00 p.m. at the Lyndon Office.

Council members should plan to participate as each club must be represented at every meeting in order for the club to be on track to receive a purple seal at year’s end.

Save the date! Club Leader meetings will be held in December, April, and August at 6:30 p.m. before the 4-H Council meeting.

Horse (HAY) Meetings

4-H Horse

Osage County's Horse and Youth (H.A.Y) meetings are open to any Frontier District 4-H member. Direct all questions to Dorothy at 785-806-5786. The Facebook page for the group is 4-H H.A.Y Club.

Osage County Shooting Sports

The shooting range is at the Osage County Landfill at 4045 W 229 St, Osage City, KS. All 4-H members must be 8 years old by January 1 to participate and be enrolled in the shooting sports project. Shooters MUST attend the first date of discipline safety training, review the 4-H code of conduct, and complete all paperwork, including a waiver that must be signed to shoot at the range. For returning shotgun project members who are 10 years of age by January 1, we will be coordinating practice sessions for those wishing to participate in upcoming shotgun qualifying matches.

Schedule

Our shotgun/archery schedule will be on Sunday at 2 p.m. as follows: Sunday, August 30 Sunday, September 13 Sunday, September 20 Sunday, September 27th.

We will start with archery at 2 p.m. and will conclude with shotgun.
